Maynard and Blaise Plant are two Canadian brothers from Ottawa who front the celebrated MONKEY MAJIK, a four-piece hybrid rock band composed of Maynard and Blaise (vocals and guitars) along with their Japanese bandmates, Tax (drums) and Dick (bass). Since Fly, their major release in 2006, their music has been used widely for television, film and commercials, including the anime series Cyborg 009, Nurarihyon no Mago and Fruits Basket. They have as well collaborated with major Japanese sensations such as m-flo, Yoshida Brothers, SIRUP or SEAMO, among others.
