During Covid-19, we organised an online festival featuring some of the best underground artists of Japan at the time: Kan Sano, Mondo Grosso, Akkogorilla and more. We partnered with Spincoaster, a local Tokyo music bar from where the festival was live-streamed. More than 14.000 people from all around the world watched the streams.

"Eight Japanese musical acts of various genres will take the stage on YouTube this weekend in an unprecedented live-stream experience aired from Tokyo to the world. It’s an exclusive opportunity to catch some of Japan’s most notable up-and-coming artists performing live (...) this four-hour extravaganza features a cornucopia of different genres working together to bring the world together through music." — Tokyo Weekender

As Comic Barcelona could not take place in 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions, we teamed with the organization to develop an online platform as a way of maintaining the festival ongoing, with content both on-demand and live-streamed.

The platform included a virtual artist alley and interactive content. Bryan Lee O'Malley, the world-acclaimed creator of Scott Pilgrim and Seconds, offered an exclusive fan meeting during the online event. A couple of years later, he attended presidentially to Barcelona to premier the Scott's Netflix anime.
